allegedly fiction

Where every story is true. Or not.

About

When I was 12, maybe 13, I read Carrie by Stephen King and something clicked. I was hooked—not just by the story, but by the realization that this was what I wanted to do. I wanted to write.

Fifty years later, here I am. Act 3. If not now, when?

This blog is an experiment. I’m working on stories across whatever genres show up, following the “what if” questions that pop into my head. I’m a pantser by nature—I like letting things unfold—but I also crave structure (just not always when I’m actually writing). My notes are everywhere these days, so I’ve started wrangling them into one of my writing tools.

I have lots of conversations with AIs too. Sometimes about the woo woo stuff, sometimes asking them to riff on our talks. You’ll find some of that here, but mostly it’s fiction.

Bottom line: this is where I think out loud, play with stories, and maybe learn something along the way.

Just me, having a bit of fun. If you like what you read, great! Thanks for stopping by.
